1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to 2 On Finance ("2 On Finance", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 2 On Finance website, dashboard, applications, APIs, educational resources, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You represent that:

You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
Any information you provide is accurate and current.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for:

maintaining accurate account information;
protecting your password and login credentials;
all activity occurring under your account;
notifying us immediately of unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans

The Platform may offer both free and paid subscription tiers.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Features, pricing, and limits may change over time.

5. Billing and Payments

Payments are securely processed through Stripe or another authorized payment processor.

You authorize recurring charges where applicable.

Unless required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable after the applicable billing period begins.

Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

6. Educational Purpose

2 On Finance is an educational, organizational, analytical, and trade-journaling platform.

The Platform is designed to help users organize financial information, maintain trading records, improve decision-making, and learn through historical analysis.

7. No Financial Advice

**Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.**

Specifically:

we do not recommend buying or selling securities;
we do not provide personalized investment advice;
we do not act as financial advisors or fiduciaries;
we do not guarantee profits or investment success;
historical performance does not predict future results.

All investment and trading decisions remain solely your responsibility.

8. Trading Journal

The Trading Journal and related analytics are intended solely for educational and record-keeping purposes.

Statistics, reports, probabilities, historical observations, AI-generated insights (if offered), and performance summaries are informational only.

They should never be interpreted as investment recommendations or guarantees of future market performance.

9. Market Data

Market prices, news, calendars, earnings information, economic events, and other financial information may be supplied by third-party providers.

Such information may be delayed, cached, incomplete, inaccurate, temporarily unavailable, or not real-time unless expressly identified otherwise.

Always verify current pricing and market conditions through your broker or trading platform before making a financial decision.

We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of the notes, journal entries, watchlists, portfolio information, and other content you submit.

You grant 2 On Finance a limited license to store, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Platform.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

violate any applicable laws;
attempt unauthorized access;
interfere with Platform security;
reverse engineer proprietary systems;
scrape or automate access beyond authorized APIs;
distribute malware;
abuse, harass, or disrupt other users.

12. Intellectual Property

The Platform, software, branding, trademarks, logos, user interface, graphics, documentation, educational content, and source code remain the intellectual property of 2 On Finance or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with services including but not limited to:

Stripe
Supabase
Vercel
Resend
Google
Microsoft
Cloudflare
Financial market data providers

Use of third-party services remains subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

14. Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, outages, provider failures, security events, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect the Platform.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

the Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE";
we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law;
we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages;
we are not liable for investment losses, trading losses, missed opportunities, lost profits, or decisions made using the Platform;
our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to 2 On Finance during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 2 On Finance, its owners, affiliates, contractors, and service providers from claims arising from:

your misuse of the Platform;
your violation of these Terms;
your violation of applicable law;
your infringement of another person's rights.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

these Terms are violated;
fraud or abuse is suspected;
continued access presents security or legal risk.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Termination does not affect obligations accrued before termination.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Material changes may be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate.

Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
